A POSTCARD SEND FROM HOME

by Ellie Xu

This is a series of postcard designs for my GD Studio class responses to the subject “autobiography in extreme-scale”. Postcards are always with fabulous landscapes from worldwide and it’s usually designed with joyful color. It makes me wonder what would postcard be like in this pandemic situation? I took a photo from my desk every day with the exact camera angle (because that’s what I see every day) and if you look closely you are still able to see very tiny differences. (there is a construction going on out of my window and it’s interesting to see them making progress every day). I just want to say, we are staying home, at this point. Every day so similar and time goes faster, but we are making tiny differences and that will make a big impact.
